Dit is een top blend van William Lawson. Afgewerkt op oude Bourbon vaten. Een zeer lekkere en toegankelijke whiskey. Het is een oude editie en is heel moeilijk te vinden. Het is altijd bewaard in totale duisternis en op een constante temperatuur. Deze fles is ongeopend en nog steeds verzegeld. 

Smaakprofiel (ENG)

Nose: Aromatic, slightly fragrant nose, indicating an elegant and sophisticated dram:

• Subtle floral hints, such as delicate rose petals and fresh cut grass, possibly owing to lighter grain whiskies used in the blend.
• Slightly nutty nuances, suggestive of hazelnuts or almonds, perhaps contributed by older, more mature grain spirits.
• Rich, creamy texture on the palate, thanks to higher percentages of sweeter, softer grain whisky.

Palate: Smooth and pleasantly complex palate, exhibiting the hallmarks of a carefully crafted blend:

• Light to medium body, delivering rounded flavors without excess weight, enabling balance throughout the tasting experience.
• Malty qualities with hints of shortbread or lightly toasted bread crust, indicative of contributions from Scottish malt whiskies, likely including Speyside-style expressions.
• Well-integrated layers of mild, herbal undertones, possibly deriving from highland malts added to create depth and complexity.
• Gentle Sherry influence, providing subtle sweetness and savory aspects, hinting at the inclusion of aged Spanish wine casks in the finishing stages.

Finish: Medium-length finish, leaving behind pleasant impressions:

• Gradually diminishing warmth, characteristic of a well-aged blend, suggesting judicious proportions of higher ABV malts.
• Slightly drying sensations on the tongue, possibly attributed to spicy notes arising from North American rye whiskeys utilized in the recipe.
