Dit is een zeer lekkere Armeense brandy dat 15 jaar heeft mogen rijpen op eiken vaten. Een top prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Dit is voor de liefhebber. Deze brandy combineert u best met een sigaar en een stukje donkere chocolade. Ik heb deze brandy al 4 jaar. Dit is de oude editie en is erg moeilijk te vinden. Het is altijd bewaard in totale duisternis en op een constante temperatuur. Deze fles is ongeopend en nog steeds verzegeld. 

Smaakprofiel (ENG)

Nose:

• Intense aromas of cooked fruits, dried prunes, plums, and raisins accented by fig jam and molasses
• Bursts of exotic spices, such as cardamom, saffron, and anise, adding depth and complexity
• Toasted almonds, walnuts, and subtle roasted coffee notes round out the nose

Palate:

• Lush and full-bodied mouthfeel, delivering concentrated flavors without being overwhelming
• Rich caramelized sugars, dark honey, and dates dominate the palate, supported by velvety tannins
• Smooth integration of oak tannins imparts a slight bitterness and tension, providing structure and length
• Underlying touches of blackcurrant liqueur or soaked vanilla pods add a touch of decadence

Finish:

• Long and persistent, evolving from warm and comforting to smokier, woody qualities
• Somewhat drying, with a lingering presence of spiced plum compote, burnt orange peels, and charred oak embers

Ararat Vaspurakan from 2019, as described above, offers a bold yet sophisticated expression of Armenian cognac craftsmanship.
